Mr. Mazumdar Swapan KumarBSc, MSc, LLB (Raj), LLB (London), LLM (England) Barrister-at-Law (N.P.), Principal.
Mr. Kumar is the founder of MCL and a PhD researcher in Company Law in the School of Advanced Legal Studies (University of London). He is an experienced law lecturer and has served as a Principal at a number of UK Colleges. Since 1996 he has been lecturing LLB, LLM and Bar Final Courses for law students, in UK higher education private institutions.
Mr.Kumar holds membership of Lincoln’s Inn and the Bar of England and Wales.
Mr. Kumar is committed to leading MCL - an institution that aims to excel in the quality of education and give new opportunities for our students.
Registrar and Head of Law:
Mr. Gary W. Orchard LLB (Hons), MPhil (Cantab), Barrister-at-Law.
Mr. Orchard is a law graduate from the University of Bristol and undertook an MPhil from the University of Cambridge.
Mr. Orchard has worked nationally and internationally as a legal consultant. He has substantial experience lecturing and tutoring law students at undergraduate, graduate and professional level nationally and internationally and organising and conducting intensive revision law programmes
Student Welfare Officer & Acting Administrator:
Mrs. M. R. C. Mazumdar LLB
Mrs. Mazumdar received her Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons) from London Metropolitan University.
She assists MCL students, who seek advice and help on accommodation, health care and other general issues of living and studying in London/UK.
Mrs. Mazumdar has extensive customer service experience, which is helpful when solving personal problems that might require special attention.
Director of Studies:
Prof. Pratik R. Banerjee Educated in India and England, Prof. Banerjee received his Masters from Calcutta and Leeds Universities in Economics, and MBA from Lancaster.
He worked as a consultant with reputable organisations, including YARD Ltd., Economic studies Group in Glasgow (a subsidiary of Rendell, Palmer and Triton in London).
Prof. Banerjee served as a professor of Economics at the Indian Institute of Management (India). At MCL, he contributes his substantial knowledge of business management.
Head of IT & Administrator:
Sarwar M Haque MSc, BSc.
Mr. Sarwar Haque has got his MSc in Computer Systems and Networking from University of Greenwich, UK. He has also finished BSc in Computer Science and Engineering.
He has got an extensive knowledge and experience in teaching and learning. He teaches different courses of BCS, BSc CIS and computing.
Head of Accountancy:
Mr. Anton Fernando BSc, MBA, MABE, DipM, ACCIM, ACCA
Mr. Fernando is a resourceful, analytical and numerate accountant, who possesses multidiscipline qualifications, coupled with experience, communication and interpersonal skills.
He aims to put these skills to optimum use within a challenging and service-orientated environment. MCL provides this opportunity. r. Fernando contributes to MCL with his professional and academic experience. He lectures ACCA and CAT courses.
Assistant Director of Studies:
Mr. Shailesh Dave B.Com, LLB, FCA
Mr. Shailesh Dave is a Chartered Accountant from India. He has vast experience of teaching and management. He had his own taxation & auditing practice since 1986.
He lectures ACCA and CAT courses.
